Things to Watch out for
Keep working on practicing previous days... Trust me -things get tough between days 10-20. Go back and re-read previous lessons. Your little reader should be reading these lessons fluently -not struggling at all -they need to know these words quickly and easily... they should be confident. If they are not, take a step back, work on what they are struggling with and move forward only when ready. You may be able to do one lesson per day. You may be doing one lesson per week. Take the time you need. What is most important is that your reader can read and understand -so, practice what your student knows until they are confident and ready to move on.
