Things to Watch out for
In Day 4 of our free learn-to-read program, beginning and struggling readers learn the sight word I, practice uppercase and lowercase Rr, and review the words see, a, and red.
The uppercase letter I can be confusing because it looks different in different fonts. Sometimes it has lines across the top and bottom, while other fonts make it look similar to a lowercase l. Point out these differences as you read together so your child learns to recognize uppercase I in different types of print. Keep building confidence!
