Things to Watch out for
Here is the big day....we introduce the word 'down'. Students will easily be confused between brown/down/blue....if they can get past today and have confidence, they will be able to read ANYTHING! Get those little readers extra practice and if you need to SLOW DOWN and take a step back.... You are building confidence - if your student can read up to and through today, nothing will challenge them! Have your students sort out brown and down words or circle in different colors, etc. Practice and point out differences to help your little reader!
