Things to Watch out for
This is the day I have been "warning" you about! The word brown... make sure you practice this word A LOT! Do the mini-book and the color book. In a few days your little reader will learn the word 'down' and it is easy to confuse the two. Remember what is most important when teaching a child to read is to make sure the child has confidence. They will want to continue learning if they have confidence that they can read what you are asking them to read. Practice. If you need to pause....OR, even take a few lessons back and then move forward again.
