Things to Watch out for
As your child learns the word “go,” draw attention to the letter g and its /g/ sound.
Your child may also notice that lowercase g doesn't always look the same. The g they write by hand may look different from the g they see in books or on a screen. Help your child recognize that both forms represent the same letter.
This lesson also introduces s at the end of a word. Encourage your child to look all the way to the end of each word rather than guessing after seeing the first few letters.
